Apply for Membership

Membership is open to any lineal descendant of Richard Lee and Anne Constable, and is granted for life.

  1. 1

    Confirm your descent

Applicants must descend from Col. Richard Lee, 'The Emigrant', and his wife Anne Constable. Spouses of members are welcome at Society events.

  2. 2

    Gather your documentation

Each generation between you and your Lee ancestor needs supporting evidence. See acceptable proof of ancestry for the records the Society accepts.

  3. 3

    Submit the application

Complete the membership application with your lineage and attach copies of your documentation. The Registrar reviews every application.

  4. 4

    Remit the life membership

A one-time payment of $400 covers life membership, including a $50 initial research fee. There are no annual dues.
